  14. Overview

  16. Calendar Printer is designed to allow you to quickly print a calendar for any
  17. month in any year between 1900 and 3000.  The calendars produced are designed
  18. to fit on an 8.5 x 11 inch page.  Large boxes for each date allow notes, 
  19. appointments, and other information to be recorded.  Calendars can either be
  20. printed directly to a printer, or to a file for editing in a wordprocessor.

  24. Starting Calendar Printer

  26. Calendar printer is a GEM based program designed to be executed from the
  27. desktop.  Double click on the program's icon to start the program.  A dialog
  28. box will be displayed which contains buttons which allow you to choose and
  29. print a calendar.

  33. Using Calendar Printer
  34.  
  35. To choose a calendar to be printed, first click on one of the 12 month buttons
  36. in the middle of the main dialog box.  Next, enter a year in the Year: field,
  37. either by typing the year, or using the mouse to click on the arrow boxes to 
  38. scroll to the desired year.  By default, the current month and year will be 
  39. selected when the program is first started.  (Your system's clock must be set
  40. correctly for the current month and year to be shown.  See your Atari
  41. computer reference manual for information about setting your computer's 
  42. clock.)  For your convenience, the date currently set for your computer is
  43. displayed in main dialog box.

  45. There are three action buttons in the main dialog box:

  47.     1.  About...--This button produces an informational display
  48.         about Calendar Printer, and how to contact the author
  49.         with comments or questions.
  50.         
  51.     2.  Print--This button prints the calendar you have selected.
  52.  
  53.     3.  Exit--This button ends this session of Scrub ST.

  55. There is also a Print to: selection, which shows Printer and CAL.OUT.  By 
  56. default, this selection is set to Printer.  By choosing CAL.OUT, all calendars
  57. will be printed to the file CAL.OUT, which is a text file that can be edited
  58. by most word processors.
